Attention to Detail
Our winemaker, Peter Kirchner, employs gentle winemaking techniques in order to showcase the complexity and elegance of the fruit. All of our processes are completely natural and organic. The wine is minimally handled and entirely transferred by gravity. Attention to detail is paramount in both the winery and the vineyard.
Coastal Location
Lawson Vineyard is located five miles from the Monterey Bay on the southern slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Situated between North-South running ridge lines allows for cool, coastal air to funnel in during the late afternoon. This elevated diurnal shift allows for extended hang time and ideal ripening conditions, producing exquisite Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
